Thank you for using IBOLPAP Software! We understand the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our software.
Information We Collect Directly
IBOLPAP Software does not ask you to provide direct identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. We do not directly create an account or contact profile from this information. However, the advertising and analytics services integrated into our software may automatically collect information that privacy laws may treat as personal data, as described below.
Usage and Device Information
Third-party services may automatically collect and process data about your device, app usage, and interactions with advertisements. The categories collected depend on the service, device, consent choices, and features enabled, and may include:
- IP address, approximate location, and device or advertising identifiers.
- Device and app details such as operating system, language, model, screen size, connection type, and app version.
- Ad impressions, views, taps, and other interactions within an advertisement.
- App usage, diagnostics, performance information, and purchase history or purchase-related events.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
Current versions of SmartQR Scanner use Unity LevelPlay to select and display banner advertisements from the integrated Unity Ads and ironSource Ads networks. LevelPlay is an advertising mediation service: it coordinates requests between the app and these networks, rather than being a separate advertisement. These services are provided by Unity and its affiliates, including ironSource.
We also use Firebase, a service provided by Google, for app usage and crash reporting statistics. Firebase may collect data about app usage and crash events to help us understand software performance, diagnose issues, and improve functionality. Information collected by Firebase is governed by Google's privacy policy. The advertising personalization choice described below does not disable Firebase analytics or crash reporting.
LevelPlay and its advertising networks may collect and share IP address and approximate location; device, advertising, installation and session identifiers; device and app characteristics; ad requests, impressions and interactions; and diagnostic or performance information. The data processed depends on the service, device, features enabled and privacy choices. Unity's SDK disclosures also describe purchase-related events and app usage information where the relevant features are used. Unity states that the Unity Ads SDK does not collect precise location.
Unity and its advertising, attribution, mediation, bidding, and publishing partners may use this information to provide personalized or contextual ads; measure campaign and ad performance; perform analytics; operate and improve advertising services; prevent fraud; maintain security; and comply with law.
The LevelPlay SDK also includes Unity's Ad Quality service, which initializes with LevelPlay. Ad Quality helps monitor advertising content and identify problematic ads. It may process ad content and associated ad, device and diagnostic information for ad quality monitoring and troubleshooting.
Older versions of our software may use Unity Ads directly or Google AdMob instead of LevelPlay. Those versions continue to use their installed advertising integration until updated. Where AdMob is used, Google may collect device and advertising interaction information under Google's privacy policy. The current SmartQR LevelPlay integration does not include AdMob.

Your Advertising Choices in SmartQR Scanner
On a fresh install, the normal scan flow introduces advertising choices after your first successful scan. The support banner is not an advertisement and does not initialize the advertising SDK. LevelPlay and ad requests remain disabled until an advertising preference is saved. You can also save a preference directly in Settings before scanning.
The advertising dialog offers personalized or non-personalized ads and links to this policy. Personalized ads require you to select that option. If you open the dialog and dismiss it without selecting an option, the app saves non-personalized ads as the default. Your preference is stored locally and applies to future sessions, so ads may load on later launches without another scan or prompt.
You can change your preference or withdraw your choice of personalized ads at any time under Settings → Advertising by selecting non-personalized ads. The app passes your preference to LevelPlay's consent and opt-out controls before initialization and when your choice changes. This does not remove ads or erase information already collected.
Non-personalized ads use contextual information rather than personalization based on your interests. They are not data-free: providers may still process IP addresses, device information, identifiers and ad events to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud and maintain security, subject to their privacy policies and applicable law. Where consent is required for a particular use of information, a non-personalized setting does not by itself replace that requirement.
You can also use your device's privacy and advertising settings and, where available, the Data Privacy icon within an ad. For access, deletion or other requests relating to data held by Google or Unity, use the privacy tools and contact details in their policies linked above. Available rights and tools depend on your location and the provider.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the software or on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
